Okay, so the Tim Holtz new die cutting machine is supposed to be released this July. There is a rumor that it wont actually ship in stores until September. Does anyone know how much this machine will cost?! Just next week I was going to buy a cuttlebug machine,…until I found out about his machine. If it is really pricey and I’d have to wait till September to buy it, then I don’t want it; I’d rather get the cuttlebug. So again, any info on his machine…? Price, store shipping dates? etc.
argh, no don’t buy the cuttlebug. If you don’t want wait for the Holtz new die cut machine. Go with a Sizzix machine. So much better than the cuttlebug. I can cut so many different kinds of paper, chipboard, basal wood in it. I can use dies from cuttlebug, sizzix, spellbinders and quickkutz in it. A sizzix machine will give you so many more options over a cuttlebug. and a better made machine.
I am creating a scrapbook for my boyfriend & I, and we met in Ithaca, NY. A lot of pages are based on locations in Ithaca, etc, and was wondering if anybody knew of a scrapbooking store online that sold Ithaca-related materials. Let me know!! Thanks!
Searching online didn’t yeild anything for scrapbooking items specific to Ithica. Maybe you could find some travel based supplies that you like, or some supplies based on the general types of locations you have in Ithica. Then you could search for images you could print out to add that are specific to Ithica.
If some of the locations are business or places that have a specific name and/or logo, maybe you could print out that name or logo to add to your page. Kind of create your own Ithica related supplies.
Hope this helps, good luck on your scrapbook. Sounds like a fun projcect.

I am not interested in "digital scrapbooking" where I have to print the pictures myself. I’m looking for a company that I can plug my pictures into templates and order the finished books.

My wife can’t find the power supply to her cricut scrapbooking machine. As my luck would have it, the power supply from the very laptop upon which I am typing this works like a champ. Actually, I have a spare power supply and am happy to share, but the cricut is so expensive, I don’t want to blow it up. The cricut doesn’t say what it’s power requirements are, but I bet the power supply does. Can someone please look at their adapter and tell me what it outputs? Thanks!
If my power supply isn’t outputting the proper current and voltage, it won’t actually make the thing blow up, but it could cause damage, which I would like to prevent. Any help is appreciated.
I don’t see why another cord won’t work. You are not going to blow it up. If the connections fit and the machine powers on, you are fine

I was gonna put pictures of us and his family. I was thinking about maybe adding pages from his friends with their pictures and words of encouragement from them.
Does anyone have anymore ideas?
Maybe some good quotes about the Air Force as well as motivational quotes. Pictures of places he loves from back home. Are you thinking he would take this to basic with him?
I want to try to find a way to recycle them as their is no recycling where I am living.
well, i think the scotch brand is okay..U can start recycling some paper based stuff to be put on your scrap book

Hi!
I have bought a bumper pack of card-making goodies and it included a number of pre-cut shapes (eg, circles, animals etc..) made out of coloured paper. Some of these have perforations (ie, dashed lines that I can cut/tear down).
For example. The dog, facing forward, has its legs and tail perforated. I can’t think why this is, am I meant to to shape them or something? Won’t it look a bit odd if I just stick the shape on a card with these lines on?
Thanks for any thoughts.
When using die cuts you can layer them and use the perforated lines for this. So the dogs tail can be in a different color-using two of the same die cut in two different colors. Or you can chalk or shade on these lines.
The teddy bear below using the same die cut in white and brown with details added in with brown marker and shading around his paws
