Best place to buy a cricut…?

Where is the best place to buy a Cricut? I’m new, just getting into scrapbooking & really want one. I saw that Michaels has a set that comes with the utensils & the machine but no price listed online. I’ve checked ebay out as well. Where is the best place to buy?

i would go with Michaels. or craft stores they can also give u a demonstration on how to use it. Michaels doesn’t put prices on line because there are stores in canada and the us and prices are different and prices can be different in between each state and province specially when u add the taxes.

(i work at Michaels) Michaels also run 40% discount coupons. u can even call up the store to find out how much Cricut is selling for. if you want more info on Cricut. i believe it is made by provocraft ant you can find it at provocraft.com.
hope that helps..happy scrapbooking.

How many cricut machines are there?

Scrapbooking

Why is this posted in gambling? Are you betting on the # of Cricuts? Do you mean how many machines ever made or how many people have one? I have one. I hope that helps.

Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter?

Does anyone here own or have ever used a provocraft cricut personal electronic cutter machine? They are going on sale this weekend for a great price. I just want to know if anyone has any complains about it. Also, any good news about it! I love scrapbooking and I also make handmade cards. So I’m wondering if this would be a good investment.

absolutely. with the different cartridges you can save alot of time and money not having to cut out each individual shape or purchase alot of shapes you don’t want to get the one you do

Which Cricut machine do I want?

I mainly would use it to make cards, tags, stationery, and for scrapbooking.

Does anyone have some experience and advice for me as I choose?

Thanks!

I have both the little (original bug) and the Expression and I love both..both have something the other doesn’t. BUT I do enjoy the features of the Expression more than the little bug. BUT I like the portability of the baby bug. So in all it will be a matter of what u like and space..You need about 4 ft of counter space for the expression.

what is the difference between Cricut personal machine and cricut expressions machine?

scrapbooking machine

Besides the price (the Expressions is the newer model and retails for 200 dollars more than the Personal), the Expressions has a larger cutting area (12 inches, rather than 5.5 inches).

There’s probably other improvements, but that’s the really major one. If you need to cut things that are bigger than 5.5 inches in either dimension, you’ll need the Expressions machine.

cricut electronic cutting machine?

what is the best cricut electronic cutting machine? when i was at michael’s and jo-ann’s the other day i noticed that there are several different ones, but don’t really see a difference.

obviously the size is different, but will having the smaller one still allow me of having all the different cartridges avail, or am would i only be allowed to use some of them? i would only be using it for scrapbooking/card making, so i wouldn’t need to make huge banners.

so, do you think the smaller one (which is 200 cheaper) would be okay for me?

Here is the official Cricut site. It has product, cartridges, etc. information about the machines and the accessories that come with them.
Hopefully it will help you make a choice that is best for your personal craft needs before you buy it in a store or online.

Cricut Cartridge Rental, Milwaukee WI?

I know there are scrapbooking stores that rent cricut cartridges daily or weekly, but I was wondering if there are any Milwaukee area (preferably North or West) craft shops that rent out cartridges. (I know it’s a long shot to find a Milwaukee resident on here, but the city isn’t listed under the local business tab).

I’m not from Wisconsin, but I have a friend that uses Chirp Express for online Cricut cartridge rentals and really likes it. They are about the same price ($6.99) for a monthly rental as most LSS are for a weekly rental! And they have free shipping both ways, so you don’t have to worry about that. You might like it too. www.ChirpExpress.com

I am new to scrapbooking, where do I begin? I will sign up for a class but meanwhile I want to play.?

I have the cricut 12 x 12 there instructions are nearly nill. I dont understand how to do the multi choices like Happy Birthday prints in three colors, how do I do it.

this is the big down fall of the cricut machines. You really need a class or a friend who has used one to show you how to use it. there is a huge learning curve to using a cricut.

try doing a bing search. there are videos and blogs out there from scrappers who use them

I need help about scrapbooking Cricuts. &Are there any good scrapbooking Cricut deals(black friday)?

I am an 14 year old girl who LOVES to scrapbook. I do it almost all of the free time I have. I just have papers, borders, stickers, a few stamps, etc. I really think I would love the Cricut. Which kind should I look at buying? (I know how expensive they are, but with a good deal I might get it, or get it for Christmas.) I really need help, suggestions, etc! THANKS SOOO MUCH! (:

I would suggest the Create for you. The Expression is nice, but not as portable and it is quite a bit more expensive. The Create has all the Expression features, but is smaller.
There will be some good deals this month. Cricutmachine.com just had a Create for $99 last week. They sold out because that’s an awesome price…but I would bet customcrops.com and other online stores will have similar pricing in the next couple weeks. Watch Walmart, Michael’s and JoAnn’s black Friday ads too.
