Question about my listing being removed from ebay?

Ok, so I sell scrapbooking mystery envelopes on ebay. I have been selling these for 8 months, and nothing’s ever gone wrong until now. They removed my listing and said "it violated the eBay Inappropriate Seller Terms policy." What was wrong with my listing?

EACH ENVELOPE IS GUARENTEED TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE STICKER MOD!

EACH ENVELOPE MAY/WILL PROBOBLY INCLUDE…

TAGS

EYELETS (SHAPED & ROUND)

BUTTONS

MINI MIRRORS

BRADS

CHARMS

STICKER MODULES (COUNTED AS 1 ITEM, NOT HOW MANY ARE ON A SHEET)

DIE CUTS

RIBBON/FIBER

PRIMA FLOWERS

PAPER PUNCHIES (5 COUNT AS 1 ITEM)

COLORED PAPER CLIPS

FOAM STICKER SHAPES

AND MORE!!!

BUY 5 GET 2 FREE, BUY 10 GET 4 FREE, BUY 15 GET 6 FREE, ECT. !!!

I even said (not shown here) "you are buying the envelope and only the envelope, everything inside is a gift from me to you."

Also, I offer the same bonus to every buyer "Buy 5 get 2 free"

What is wrong with my listing, and why was it removed?

Probably because if they allow you to auction things with unknown contents then they also have to allow intentionally misleading ads like the "PS3 CHEAP!!" auctions from last christmas where it says "box only" in tiny type at the bottom of the ad. You aren’t being intentionally misleading, but it opens up a big area of liability for eBay and they probably don’t want the headache.

What to use to cut 6×6 chipboard?

I just started making mini albums but have been scrapbooking for awhile. My local scrapbook store sells chipboard in 12×12 but would like to know if there is a certain die that will cut 6×6. I would like to refrain from purchasing already cut 6×6 chipboard online since i already have lots of 12×12. Is there a sizzix die that will cut a 6×6 square for my mini albums?

i personally use the yellow honey bee scissors, or my ac-too knife. Make sure you have a new or very sharp blade.

what is "cartoleria"?

is it some kind of a mall? or something like supermarket?can I find cartolerias in any places for example in Florence or in Rome?can I purchase scrapbooking supplies for example papers, die cuts or eyelets from these cartolerias?

It translates as stationery store. I guess that makes sense as a place to look for scrapbook supplies.

HEY scrapbookers! Which is better! PLEASE i need your feedback?

I recently started scrapbooking and i purchased the Quickutz squeeze system but when i started looking on ebay for die cuts im seeing a Sizzix Sizzlits cutting system??? I payed ALOT of Money for my quickutz system and those sizzix are cheaper but do they work as well?? And also there die cuts are a little cheaper….can someone tell me whats the difference or if there is a difference and am i better off with what i got?? thanks SO much!!

I too started with the Quickutz but soon found out that sizzix is much better. It is so much cheaper and has alot more dies. You can use the hobby lobby and michaels 40% off coupons for them also, they alternate every other week. Sizzix is easier to use too. I would suggest buying the big sizzix because you can use all dies with it where the sidekick you can only use the flat dies. Hope that helps and have fun scrapbooking! Christie

Help! I need help labeling and organizing scrapbooking supplies into a file holder.?

Hello. I am new at this whole scrapbooking, cardmaking hobby of mine and I got this file holder that I need help organizing and labeling. It has 3 separate compartments: 6 files that are 14×14, and 6 that are 14×9 and 6 that are 14×5. I have tons of pages, solid 12×12 colored pages, printed 12×12 pages and sticker alphabets that are 12×12 and die cut outs that measurment also, all different colors (but some 12 x 12 come in matching colored and printed sets) and I have individual small sticker pages and die cut outs but I don’t know if I have all the titles of everything right. So, any tips you can give me would be helpful. Thank you.

I would do it by "color." That is how I do it. Good luck! Good for you for getting organized!

Scrapbooking?

Im new at scrapbookin. What are die-cuts?

Die cuts are pieces of paper that are cut into different shapes. Like say a Easter Basket or an egg shape. You can add these to your page to give them a little bit more pazzaz.

What should I do with my online store?

I used to have an Ebay store but with Ebay getting crazy and me selling items under a dollar that was just not going to work. I opened a freestanding store (I sell mainly die cuts for scrapbooking that I make) but since then have gotten a job outside the home I don’t have the time to promote it or put the time into it that it needs. I’m thinking of making packs and listing them on Ebay but I’m also thinking of maybe just calling it quits and focusing on catching up on my own scrapbooking. My biggest concern, I guess, is that I look at all the paper I have and the die cut machine and can’t help thinking that it should be bringing some money in. What would you do?

Ebay has become insane with their fees. It’s impossible to make money anymore on their site. You may try to use craigslist, not sure of the details there, but it is a free site.

Which die cut machine is best?

I am debating between the
Xyron® Wishblade® Digital Die-Cutting Machine and the Provo Craft® Cricut® Expression Cutting Machine.

The first one is computer based and the second one is a cartridge. They both have good reviews. The question is, with the computer based, do I have to buy ink, does it print from my computer or from the machine? Is there additional costs over time? Are there unlimited fonts and designs?

For the second one, the question is where do I buy the cartridges? How many fonts and designs are on each cartridge? How much are they? Again, do I have to purchase ink?

What is the benefit of having the computer based one if the designs are limited?

What is the overall point of having the machine? I dont use programs to create my pages because I feel that it takes the fun out of me sitting in my craft room doing a page and putting it together. So much of scrapbooking has gone digital and although they look fantastic, it’s not as creative to me. Would the computer based die cut machine make me feel that way?

These machines are for cutting shapes and letters out of cardstock. They have blades that you do have to replace.
Although the Cricut Expression does have an adaptor for drawing, it is not its main function. Nor would I buy if it this is what you want to do with it.
Look at hobby lobby and Wal Mart for the best prices. Look on the back of each cartridge for all it can cut out. The Cricut has a software program which allows some control over what can be cut out.
If you can find a scrapbooking store where you can demo these machine it might help you learn what they can do.

HEY ALL SCRAPBOOKERS!!! What is the best adhesive for gluing felt to paper for scrapbooking?

I am trying to glue white felt I cut out with my die cutter to the top of a pennant triangle to make it look like snow. The felt is the kind that you can buy in sheets at the craft store. Nothing special. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks for your help!!

Fevicryl and glue gloss. I do a lot of felt sticking. It is really cool.
