I’ve already done one about me family sister and mom any other ideas up for anything.

I scrap about all kinds of things. Here is a list of theme ideas that may help spark an idea or two for you:

I also have art journals where I scrap about thoughts, ideas, poems, songs, current events, things that happen to me, my opinions about things. It’s kind of like a pictorial diary. Anytime inspiration strikes, I scrap a page or two. I also try out new techniques for scrapping/mixed media art in my journal.

You can set yourself photography challenges too and scrap the pictures you take, daily or weekly or even monthly, depending on how often you want to scrap. Try subjects such as waterscapes, landscapes, birds, animals, plants, items you love (favourite piece of jewelry, favourite place to read, favourite clothing, favourite place to go out and eat, favourite house in the world, etc).

You can join scrapbooking sites/forums where they have weekly challenges. Try Paper Craft Planet, Start a Scrapbook, Mixed Media Workshops or Splitcoast Stampers. All have websites.

My best friend is leaving for college a ways away and I wanted to make a huge scrapbook with all these pictures and great moments we’ve had over the years. Any ideas? And what supplies should I buy?

Instead of a scrapbook, get a big picture frame and arrange the pictures in it with a few inside jokes. Then she can hang it on her dormroom wall

any of your ideas are good for scrapbooks. look at the pictures you want to put in, and go from there. go to a art store and look around.

OK. This is mostly for people who have scrapbooked before. What should I get. I have a big scrapbook with about 27 clear pages. I am a girl, so make it some cute stuff. and the pages are double sided!

I would recommend you start with paper/embellishment kits–you can find these everywhere now. Use your coupons from the newspaper so you can get them at 40% off at your large craft stores or check some of the on-line stores that have them too, they come in lots of themes and cute girlie stuff–I use them in my daughter’s & grand-daughter’s albums all the time. Not knowing what basic tools you have besides an album–you will need a personal cutter or scissors-I like both, ruler, adhesive (double-sided tape), cardstock and/or patterned paper which would be in the kits I recommened or you can just buy what you need separately, and of course your pictures. I’ve been teaching scrapbooking since 93, if you have any more questions just you can let me know–love doing my grand-daughter’s girly books

I just got a scrapbook! I have no idea what to put in it. Besides pictures of my friends and family. I was thinking of doing a scrapbook about the whole year. what do you think? Please give me more ideas.

The year idea is a good one. I suggest the scrapbook pages that you can find that have months as your header page for the section. Or there are even word "month" stickers with corrisponding picture stickers. I made a scrapbook (babybook) for my little girl. However I was not introduce to scrapbooking until after I had taken most of the photos. So I organized my book based off of where we lived. Hope you have fun.

Mostly though, I get idea books with layouts in them and I get creating Keepsakes Magazine, which gives me tons of ideas. You can order idea books like award winning scrapbook pages on line or pick one up at Michael’s or any hobby store.

You can make a scrapbook on Anything you like – yourself, your family & friends, pets, events, institutions, places, food, things, hobbies, etc.
Once you’ve decided your theme, sort out your photos & pictures accordingly. Also look for some memorabilia that you might like to add to the book.
Think of the size, layout, embellishments & adornments, style, etc.
You could add some quotes, quips, thoughts too.
You can also make it online – digital scrapbooking Or film a video. Plenty of sites online, if you think of these .

My daughter just had her 5th grade graduation and recieved alot of certificates I am having alot of trouble on how to put them in a scrapbook and make them good.
Any suggestions are appreciated

Another option is to scan them in and make a digital scrapbook for her. She can play with it, show it to others and you don’t have to worry about the certificates getting damaged or lost. You could include other photos and events from her 5th grade, kinda like a year book. Email me if you need help.
